The Jordan Hotels Association held a coordination meeting that brought together representatives from hotel establishments in the Dead Sea area, with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Shouneh Agriculture Directorate, the Ministry of Local Administration, and the relevant security agencies. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss mechanisms for combating flies in the region and to review the latest developments on the matter.

During the meeting, the efforts made by the relevant authorities to reduce the spread of flies were reviewed, and a noticeable improvement in the situation was observed compared to previous periods. This reflects the effectiveness of the measures taken and the ongoing cooperation between the public and private sectors.

The Association emphasized the importance of continued coordination and joint action to ensure a healthy and suitable environment in the area, which would positively impact the experience of visitors and tourists and enhance the Dead Sea’s competitiveness as a unique tourist destination.
